If you’re looking for a fun way to make the holiday even more festive, then why not set up a holiday hot chocolate bar! It’s easy to do, doesn’t take up a lot of space, and your guests really will enjoy it. What’s better than sharing hot chocolate with friends and family on a cold night?
I set up our holiday hot chocolate bar on this small baker’s rack, which works well for serving any kind of cocoa and snacks. I’ve used the upper shelves for Christmas decor, but those shelves are perfect for adding more goodies to go with the hot chocolate bar.

In setting up a holiday hot chocolate bar, there really are no rules. You can use whatever you have on hand and make it as fancy or simple as you want. For instance, if you have a holiday teapot, use it for hot water or milk. Or, if you bake Christmas cookies, what better way to serve them than with your hot chocolate bar.
Of course, you can also set up your hot chocolate bar with coffee or Italian expresso, to make mocha chinos. I also like to add mini flavored liquors into the mix for the adults, like Bailey’s or Rum Chatta. It’s really based on what you and your guests prefer.
