If you’re looking for a fun way to make the holiday even more festive, then why not set up a holiday hot chocolate bar? It’s easy to do, doesn’t take up a lot of space, and your guests really will enjoy it. It’s the perfect way to share hot chocolate with friends and family for your holiday parties and festive gatherings.
I set up our Christmas hot chocolate bar on this small baker’s rack with lots of sweet treats, mini marshmallows, hot cocoa mix, and some of my favorite toppings. It’s such a fun idea and the perfect way to celebrate the holidays.

How to Set Up a Hot Chocolate Bar
In setting up a holiday hot chocolate bar, there really are no rules. You can use whatever you have on hand and make it as fancy or simple as you want. For instance, if you have a holiday teapot, use it for hot water or milk. Or, if you bake Christmas cookies, what better way to serve them than with your hot chocolate bar?
For my holiday hot chocolate bar, I used the upper shelves of my baker’s rack for displaying Christmas decor, and those shelves are also perfect for stocking more goodies to go with the hot chocolate bar like candy canes different toppings, hot chocolate bombs, and more.
Of course, you can also set up your hot chocolate bar with coffee or Italian expresso, to make mocha chinos. I also like to add mini-flavored liquors into the mix for the adults, like Bailey’s or Rum Chatta. It’s really based on what you and your guests prefer.
